BAR Suite: Photos

Situated within the North Wales town of Llanrwst is this unique holiday accommodation offering a wonderful base for those wishing to explore the surrounding dense mountain countryside setting.  This former hotel has been converted to provide a couple’s self-catering bolthole, and The Bar Suite promises just this, as well as a unique experience.

Enter into the studio-style property and be charmed by the traditional features of the former bar area, coupled with contemporary furnishing to offer a welcoming space to return to each day.  Look forward to sinking into the sofa, which doubles up as a sofa bed should you wish to bring additional guests along, and light up the open fire before tuning into the TV.  Accompanying the space is a dining table, situated within the bay window, offering a space for you to enjoy a takeaway or self-catered snack as you watch the world go by.  To the rear of the room is the plush king-size and the original bar, where you and your loved ones can pull up a chair, pour yourself a drink and toast to a special break.  Completing the holiday accommodation is a compact kitchen area, boasting an electric ring hob, a microwave and a fridge, as well as a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, two basins and WC.

To the outside, there is ample off-road parking, as well as a terrace area, where table and chairs offer an alternative dining space for you to soak up the summer sunshine.

A stone’s throw away from the property are a superb selection of pubs, restaurants and takeaways, offering something for all tastes, as well as shops for picking up the essentials.  To keep you busy whilst here, choose to walk one of the many routes within the Snowdonia National Park, including the summit of Wales’ highest mountain.  For a unique experience, Surf Snowdonia Adventure Park is within 5 miles, offering surfing lessons, walking, a soft play area and a café, in addition to Zip World Forest, located a mere 2 miles away, home to Europe’s longest zip wire.  Alternatively, head to the quaint village of Betws-y-Coed, which boasts a range of independent shops and eateries, as well as Swallow Falls, where you can view the spectacular cascading waterfall from a location above the river.  Further afield, is the coastal town of Llandudno, home to two glorious beaches and a Victorian pier, as well as a plethora of seaside amusements, offering you and your loved one a traditional North Wales coastal day out.

The Bar Suite promises to be an unforgettable break to this part of Wales.
